Presentation Skills Introductory Offer

I am producing a workshop specifically for people who have great content but have difficulty presenting it well for many reasons. From being in the science industry for some 27 years I noted that presenting was a specific lack in most people's education. Yes some may have learnt report writing and the theory, but good presentation skills are looked on as some sort of initiation, wall of fire, to walk through. I also know that most people never have time to actually take any more courses to improve such skills.

As director of Get On Stage, having also been a professional entertainer for longer than my time spent in science I can pay forward my experience of stage craft and training experience to our budding future presenters. The same issues are thrown at singers, entertainers, corporate presenters, public speakers, news and weather readers and to some degree voice-over artists. Subjects such as:

• Stage Fright
• Material
• Personal presentation
• Technical equipment
• Body language
• Mental readiness
• Vocal tonality and warm ups (including what food to eat)

The workshop comes with Workbooks for all participants. They run either one full day or two half days over a time frame you prefer (one or two weeks apart).To be successful is to have knowledge, but to have knowledge and not be able to demonstrate it or communicate it is a tragedy.The workshop is very hands on with physical tasks following each section of learning. Because of this hands on approach, which is by far the best way of learning, I limit the group size to 20 clients. Participants are asked to wear comfortable pants and shoes for the first half of the workshop. And although it is physical it is applicable to everyone including most physical handicaps.
